As advocates for altruism, we are committed to being good neighbors within our Houston community. Our NextHome Executives team sponsors a garden bed at the Blodgett Community Garden where fresh fruits and vegetables are grown and made available to residents of Houston’s Third Ward and allows them to participate in developing their neighborhood while learning about the benefits of agriculture.
An integral part of the NextHome franchise culture is our beloved mascot, Luke. In honor of his birthday on June 15th, we host an annual day of community service and outreach – Luke Day. In the past, we have volunteered at animal shelters, organized pet adoption events, and raised donations for our national charity partner, Canine Companions for Independence.
Locally, we team up with the Houston Food Bank, an organization dedicated to aiding those who experience food insecurity. This year, my team of agents and volunteers processed more than 50,000 pounds of food, enough to feed 15,000 families.
The NextHome Executives agents and I truly believe that investing in the lives of others strengthens our connections to the world around us, as we are better together.
